Like a room without a roof

I had been trying out for the JV Tennis team for the past week, but I got cut. I decided to quit sports. Okay, let me be clear first. Quitting sports doesn't mean that I'm going to just become a potato, it just means that I get to do whatever I want to do. I started my first day of Pilates today, and I enjoyed it a lot. I went for a short leisurely-paced jog with Bella. The weather was perfect for running, even though it was dark and humid in the morning. I wish it would be like this for the rest of the season.

120 minutes

Derek Shepherd you beautiful human being
I've somehow managed to finish ALL of my homework before study hall tonight, which means I get to watch Grey's for the next two and a half-ish hours. Karev and Izzy are getting married instead of Mer and Derek; this is too amazing. I feel so comfortable right now sitting in my bed after a nice five-minute shower and having spent the past two hours talking to some friends, whom I never actually got the opportunity to speak to for a long time individually. I realized that there are still so many people that I haven't gotten a chance to speak to, to get to know on a personal level. I really enjoy deep meaningful conversations (or DMC as the brits would say it) with people, that's actually one of my favorite things to do.

carried away

high school is a madhouse, especially in boarding high school. although there are so many amazing things that you would not have experienced if you didn't live with the kids you go to school with. however, there are also moments like this where you feel like exploding and yelling to the entire school, where you're so disgusted by the things people say and how they act. Often, these people are your close friends. There are exceptions for me at least, there are four people in this school that i never ever get tired of. But what happens if I can't deal with the majority of my friends anymore? I usually take a one-week long(depending on the situation) social hiatus, watch a lot of sad movies, read a lot of books, focus on my homework, have deep conversations and rants with the only 4. It's very therapeutic actually.

Nothing is worse that being accused of something that you clearly aren't. I think it's important to stand up for your own opinion, but I don't think it's worth the energy arguing with others about insignificant issues. I mean if you're sooooo caught up with such worthless issues, what kind of a person does that make you?

I'm nice to the people who are nice to me, that's only fair. But if you decide to sabotage a perfectly good relationship for your "ego" or "dignity" or whatever you may call it, that go ahead, I'll just pretend like we were never friends because that's completely fine with me.

Stuck in a Nosebleed again and again

Leave. Get out of my life.
I don't want to deal with you anymore. I want to tolerate the things you put me through; I want to be your friend, but I can't. I don't have the energy, do you understand? You've showed me that you don't care about me or my feelings. I remember last year when you told me that I was the only real friend you ever had. Go ahead, make fun of me and how stupid I was for believing that.

Mood Swinging

Nothing is going to make me feel better...
lately it seems like i've been pissing a lot of people off; i know that two of my best friends at school are mad at me at least. the worst part of all this is that i'm not even sure what i did.
I try to fix things, but it seems like i'm making things worse. So now i'm too the point where I don't care even more.
I really don't.

I guess i really was stupid for believing that i could prove to the rest of the people that a girl like me can be friends with you.

i'm done.

"I don’t wanna talk anymore
I know enough about you to know all I wanna do is
Find out a little bit more
I don’t wanna waste that moon
And the heat on the hood of this Ford
I don’t wanna talk anymore"

Human burrito

I don't understand how people have so much energy all the time. I don't understand why I'm always exhausted, and I never get myself energized or pumped up to socialize. I just want to stay in my room all day, watch tv, drink tea, have a friend stop by and talk about everything. Then, continue on with my lazy life as a human burrito.

Fantastic kickoff

It has only been the first day of school, and I have already accomplished a few things that many normal people might not have accomplished:
1. lost my newly bought 160 bucks calculator
2. forgot to bring my mattress pad for my dorm
3. switched schedules 4 times
4. created inner resentment with half the people in my grade, just the occasional bug
5. spoke until my face got red hot and choked up in front of a teacher

So hopefully, this won't go on for the rest of the school year because there is no way I can survive with this kind of luck.
There's 15 more minutes till study hall is over. I have finished most of my homework (mostly reading), but I am still figuring out whether I should buy another one... I actually don't have an option. I actually ordered a used one which is 30 bucks cheaper but decided it was too risky and cancelled in the end.

This is just like the electric pencil sharpener situation all over again.

Just my luck -Sharon

"Let my mind Meditate" -Norah Jones

The weather in hong kong has been very humid and stuffy this past week. I've gradually gave in to this lazy mood, which led to the result of my messy room,  the constant replay of the 8tracks playlist ("norah jones + rainy"), and watching romantic comedies one after another. I can't help it.

Mood: In Love... with Norah Jones' voice.
